Kirton Brass Band is back in full swing providing live music in and around Boston after a prolonged absence due to the Covid-19 restrictions of the past 18 months or so. We also welcome our new Musical Director, Andy Scott who brings with him a welath of knowledge and talent.
From Proms Nights to Memorial Services, Christmas Concerts to Weddings, Kirton Brass Band Concerts have been in the Boston community for over 152 years. Led by the very skilled Musical Director and his trusty baton, Andy Scott, the thirty or so strong band is renowned for its full sound and varied library of music to suit all tastes and occasions.

Kirton Brass Band meets every Thursday evening between 7.30pm and 9.30pm in our band-room at The Methodist Church, London Road in Kirton, near Boston in Lincolnshire.
We are a non-competing band, by choice, as our wide-ranging list of engagements throughout the year brings with it its own set of demands on our skill and versatility.
We are committee led but family orientated giving all band members an opportunity to express opinions and drive ideas forward in a positive way at all times.
Kirton Brass Band is in high demand in Boston throughout the year with repeat-engagements such as Proms Nights, Christmas Concerts, Festival Performances and much more

Andy is ex-RAF and currently also plays with Salvo Brass as Principal Euphonium.
Clive is also ex-RAF and leads the band's cornet section.
Dave has been with the band for many years and heads up our low-brass section.
Another long-serving band member Garry plays Solo Eb Tenor horn and is our Bandmaster.
Steve travels over 150 miles for weekly rehearsals.
Adriaan is one of our long-standing players and sits on the band's committee.
Rob is a valued, long-serving player.
Rosalind is our Flugel Horn Player and is also the band's Secretary
Martin joined us nearly 3 years ago and is also our Publicity Officer.
Malcolm keeps up the rythm and timing on Percussion and Kit.
Katie sits on our front-row cornet line-up with her unique 'frosted Prestige' machine.
Ian plays Soprano Cornet and is amazingly versatile throughout all genres of music.
A recent addition to our line-up, Ed brings with him a Music Degree & loads of talent.
Heather plays Tenor Trombone and completes the family team with Malcolm.
Another long-serving member of the team, Lucy plays 2nd Baritone Horn.
Another recent addition to the band, Amy plays Tuned-Percussion.
Chris is a valued member of the band within our strong (pun-intended) bass line-up.
Les plays Eb tenor Horn with the band and compliments our talented section.
Richard is one of our talented bass players and has been with the band for many years.
Josh Scott is our second youngest player and the son of MD Andy Scott.
Amy is our youngest player and is the daughter of MD Andy Scott.
Lisa is a valued addition to our cornet line-up.
Rick plays 1st Eb Horn and is Band Librarian
